Music and songs from the 13th and 14th centuries about various beasts, including donkeys, pythons, panthers, and a whole host of winged creatures. Hear the kaleidoscope of medieval sounds with winds (recorders, shawm, douçaine, pipe and tabor and bagpipe) and strings (harp, vielle, and rebec). Music of Jacopo da Bologna, Johannes Ciconia, Francesco Landini, and others.
