Milford has always prided itself on its diverse, cultural festivals and events that bring locals and visitors to its heart center to celebrate life and its splendors. From music and film to dance and writing, we have something to feed the soul of every creative and inspire those looking for inspiration.

Milford Music Festival

A festival that originally started in the early 2000s and has morphed into the borough-wide musical wonder that it has become today. Since 2010, the Milford Music Festival has been a FREE borough-wide sidewalk event with music, shopping, dining and fun all over town; attracting music enthusiasts for more than 90 miles!

Milford Readers & Writers Festival

The Milford Readers and Writers Festival aims to inspire conversations between people who love to read books and people who write them.

Black Bear Film Festival

The Black Bear Film Festival is a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading joy and building community through film. Centered around the historic Milford Theater on East Catharine Street, but spanning all of Milford, the festival entertains, educates and inspires the region with great indie film events which include screenings, salons and workshops.

DanceFest Milford

From the roots of modern dance to the latest in contemporary performance, DanceFest Milford offers a stage for renowned and emerging dance companies.
